Permanence: 5 days
It has been an intense trip, I've enjoyed visiting the historical spots, museums, gates, monuments and of course the famous wall. It has been meaninful as well, as back to high school, I studied quite a lot about the holocaust, the world war 2 and the impact of germany in the european history. It is somewhat true that many germans love to drink beer, as you can easily see people walking around holding a bottle of beer even during daytime or at noon...the price of a pint is of course kind of cheap if compared to other countries.

News:

22 August 2008 - Checkpoint Berlin - I ve just spent some days in Germany before flying off to asia. Im now on an airbus a330 pointed to Bangkok but I wont write much as I forgot to charge my laptop and Im running too low on battery. I will soon update some pictures of my berlin trip. I met two new friends Pantanida and Andrea (an artist who I hadnt the chance of getting to know, but Ill make it up next time for sure..) while I couldn't meet my other two old friends living in berlin cause I have been too busy walking around the city with my head on the clouds :) Oh, by the way I've tasted some of their crap german food which is a soup of ketchup on a quite big sausage and french fries...holy shit...
