Travels - China 2007

Intro: Again to China...it has been just 2 years since I came to Guangzhou last time, and even with the other hundreds of countries to visit which are left in my list I still decided to come here. There are quite few good reasons: one of them is that i was really too hectic, i needed to calm down for a while, chill out, relax. I needed to write down some stuff and complete some works. I was also in need of some bucks to continue my trip.

Bruno (Guangzhou)
Bruno is a businessman living in China, a good friend of Curzio and after my permanence at his place in he became a really good friend of mine as well. I was in Macao (02/07) when I phoned Bruno for the first time: he told me he was at the hospital, almost paralyzed due to a double hernia. So I ran to Hong Kong to get the Chinese Visa and after couple of days I was in Guangzhou Hospital. Thankfully they demitted him after few days and so it came the funniest part: the doctor advised him to buy a wheelchair for sometime before the operation, so I was pretending to be a blind man and drive him all around on the wheelchair while trying to pick up girls asking for their mercy ahha. :) That was just the beginning, we have been through a lot of adventures and Bruno made my time in Guangzhou special. He's also a man you can't really find around the corner, he's cultured, experienced, passionate, educated, respectful, adaptive and eclectic as me. He's definitely someone with talent, and someone who really taught me a lot of things.

 

 

 

 

Bruno's comment:

" After 3 years in China, I know enough this country to realize how little I know about it. Chinese people are funny and Chinese girls can be as crazy as western, but with that Asian charm that many foreigners living in China know very well. I still don’t know where’s will be my future, but China still attracts me very much. I hope Alan could have seen this county trough my eyes, and that he liked what he saw. Ma and Alan have very nice time here and a real friendship (that wasn’t for granted) has born. We are both quite crazy, but is different ways, so when we are together, there’s the guarantee that something funny is gonna happen! Anyway, just for the records, he’s the craziest… I will never forgot that night after the Amway Karaoke, in a club, when he jump on the (very hot) singer after her performance, and, regardless her shouting, all the people around and the security, he could calm her down and have a little conversation with her… Very impressive, Alan! Please enjoy the pictures of our adventures and the crazy people we meet! "
