.: Travels - Brazil :.

<Back to Travels Menu<

Arrival time: May 2004
The intro: I first stayed for some weeks at Fabricia's mother place in Sao Paulo and later on we went together to Rio de Janeiro to visit a friend. For last then we took a trip up to the north to meet her father in a small town near Salvador de Bahia: he has got an house by a river, immersed in  a rich vegetation, chickens, various animals and cocoa trees. The good thing about Brazil is that it's a multi racial country and you won't ever find racism related issues. It's a various and vast country with different cultures and many interesting people to meet. Very sunny , funny and joyful people, I had a very good impression of this country.

Fabricia (Sao Paulo)

I met Fabricia, during my trip to Cape Town , South Africa, where she was working as a model for a couple of months: I was really amazed by her kind of beauty. We immediately liked each other. Some months later she invited me to join her in Brazil during May/June. I stayed with her and the mother in Sao Paulo and later on we went to visit her father in Bahia. She has 2 brothers which were very nice and friendly with me. Fabricia's family was very very kind with me.

<< The Opala's mafia!

Rio De Janeiro:

>> The unique presence of high hills , skycrapers and beaches all in once is the main characteristic of Rio and it's making it one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

<< The beach at 7 am.        << The beach at 11 am.

<< A romantic kiss between me and Fabricia next to Copa Cabana famous gay beach!

>> Someone built this spectacular castle with a magnificent sea sight in the background...but the constructor is not there...

Bahia photogallery:

<< People using the river for multiple purposes: having bath , washing clothes and drinking water

>> Sometimes a bridge is the only available connection between two small jungle towns

>> yes!! Hitchhiking! We got a ride on that truck after couple of hours with our thumb up on the interstate.

<< Unfortunately the lift was not long enough to reach destination so we had to sleep on the road waiting for another ride...

<< Yellow fever vaccination before entering Bahia region
